I create digital research tutorials and videos, but why?
I get asked quite frequently for training in OSINT, verification and open source investigative techniques. Training with experienced people on real practical examples is important, but I’ve found there are also lots of easy to learn basics that you can pick up. I cover a lot of those in my free tutorials on YouTube.
That, and I am passionate about Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), digital research, geolocation and curious bytes, and I believe that no matter who you are, or where you are in the world, you can learn how to identify, verify and analyse information online.
My first video below, is on starting an investigation or research with a simple image reverse search.
For those keen on learning how to geolocate an image or video (basically finding where a photo or video was taken from using features on a map), you might enjoy this tutorial which has received lots of rewarding feedback.
